Even though you said that there would be no logging in the Korstian section on Thursday, January 1, there is logging going on today. It was disconcerting to be awakened this morning by the sound of chain saws and the thuds of falling trees. The thuds were loud enough to shake my house. It would have been nice to have been informed that logging would indeed be going on during New Year’s Day.

    • Duke Forest says:

      Hi Suzanne,

We are very sorry for the disruption on New Year’s Day. Because of rain in the forecast, the logger’s schedule changed quickly, and we did not have a chance to post an update. But again, very sorry!
